Quality assurance and
corporate responsibility

Our success very much depends on the satisfaction of our customers. For this reason, we strive for continuous optimisation and as few customer complaints as possible.

We develop safe products for you – products that meet our high standards of quality, innovation and competitiveness. To be able to guarantee a high level of consumer satisfaction, we carry out continuous quality control testing along the production chain. Our product ideas are conceived according to customer requirements and correspond to current legal requirements and safety standards.

We’ve got the requirements covered for marketing products in the EU and other countries such as the US and Australia.

We work closely with recognised and accredited testing institutes in Germany and abroad. In addition, our own quality assurance team has comprehensive know-how for almost all product groups. Particular attention must be paid to articles that fall under risk categories – personal protective equipment (PPE), medical devices, toys or electrical products are some examples. The competence of our employees is always strengthened and promoted through continuous training and up-to-date information.

Climate responsibility

As a medium-sized B2B trading company, we cause climate-relevant emissions, no matter how sustainably and prudently we do business.

We have recorded the relevant CO2 emissions of our company via Climate Partner: from heating and electricity to business trips and employee travel to office supplies. This allows us to see exactly where our greatest levers lie in order to reduce emissions for our location in Hamburg. As a responsible company, we have fully compensated financially for all emissions generated and invested in climate protection projects.

We are FSC®-certified (FSC® C120282)

as a trader and use FSC®-certified wood in our production processes to promote sustainable forestry. As an importer, we take it upon ourselves to be highly responsible and to set a high standard for our suppliers.

Whether it concerns individuals or the environment, we live up to our corporate responsibility along the supply chain.

This commitment provides a solid foundation for all business relationships and includes actively promoting corporate responsibility issues at our manufacturing sites.

We have defined clear principles in our in-house Social and Behavioural Code of Conduct. These principles are based on international conventions such as those of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the United Nations (UN). Since 2010, we have been a member of amfori BSCI (https://www.amfori.org/content/amfori-bsci), a leading corporate initiative to improve working conditions in global supply chains.

Our contracts are awarded exclusively to selected production sites that are familiar with our corporate responsibility requirements and implement the Code of Conduct.

We strive for long-term partnerships with our production sites and see these as the cornerstone of our success. To monitor basic corporate responsibility principles and rights, we have created an audit programme that is implemented by our own auditors in China. This helps to continuously identify improvement potential.
